In the beginŠ½ing of 2007 Neterra was chosen as a partner of British Telecom in Bulgaria. BT's decision to collocate Point-of-Presence at Neterra, marks the successful completion of two years of negotiations and one year of technical preparation.
In March 2008 Neterra completed the construction and put into exploitation the Bulgarian section of the project Balkan Fiber Optic Ring (BFOR). The project, that started in December 2004, was the first "green" investment in the field of telecommunications in Bulgaria, specially designed to serve the international transit market between Europe and Asia.
In 2004 Neterra started the development of an ambitious IT project with the purpose to allow Bulgarians around the world to watch Bulgarian television and movies on the Internet in good quality and most important legally.
In the beginning of 2007 Neterra completed a project for crossing the Danube river with fiber optic cable. The project connects the Bulgarian city of Russe with the Romanian town of Guergevo and includes fiber optics between Neterra's Telecom Center Russe and Romanian service providers through the water border of the two countries.
