Neterra Ltd. offers a high quality broadcasting of digital radio and TV channels via satellite. Satellite broadcasting guarantees higher reliability in comparison with terrestrial radio-relay channels. The monthly service charge depends only on the channel capacity and it does not depend on the distance to the Receive-Only Stations (RxO), regardless of their number.

Transmit Earth Stations at Sofia Teleport

The transmit earth station comprises of 4:2:2 MPEG-2 encoders, statistical multiplexer, fully redundant satellite modulators, up-converters, amplifiers, transmitters and antennas for transmission to the satellite.

RxO Stations

Each standard RxO terminal comprises of a satellite antenna system with an LNB down-converter; and a standard digital DVB integrated receiver/decoder (IRD).

At the moment, Sofia Teleport disposes of fixed antennas pointed at satellites operated by Intelsat, Loral Skynet, PanAmSat, Astra/NSAB, New Skies and others, as well as motorized antennas suitable for working on random satellites. The broadcast of video and audio signal can be organized via either one of the listed satellites or via satellite, chosen by our customer.
