Bulgarian telecommunications company Neterra launches the biggest capacity fiber optic network for data transfer between Europe and the Middle East

800 Gbps is the projected capacity of the DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) network, which was going to be launched in June by the leading Bulgarian telecom operator Neterra. This capacity makes it the largest capacity fiber optic network for data transfer from Europe to Turkey.

Bulgaria hosted the 37th International Annual Forum of Telecom Operators – OSS/ICDS

From May 14 to May 16, 2008 Bulgaria hosted for the first time the International Annual Forum of telecom operators from all over the world - OSS/ICDS (One-Stop-Shopping/Inter-Carrier Data Services). Organizer of the prestigious event was the Bulgarian Telecommunications company Neterra, which is one of the two Bulgarian companies members of the forum and at the invitation of which the prestigious annual meeting took place in Bulgaria, at the "Riviera" resort.
